Introducing Avery – Welcome to the Augusta Family!
Hello everyone! I’m Avery, the human in the pictures, not to be confused with the Praying Mantis on my head or the mealworms I’m holding. I am so excited to start my first summer at Camp Augusta as a Manzi councillor! As you can probably already tell from the pictures, I love bugs! I also love adventures, painting, reading, and telling jokes. I am graduating from college this May with a degree in Animal Ecology, which means I am fascinated with the environment and how everything works together. I have lived in Iowa my entire life, so I can’t wait to see California and all the new plants, animals, and people in it! You can read more about me in my staff bio!
