Why Augusta for Your Group?

Whether you want to use our facilities for your own programming, or enjoy the full Augusta experience with our programs, Augusta has something for your group.

  • When? We run summer camp early June to mid August, and coordinate group visits in pre and postseason (late April to early June and mid August to early September).
  • Where? 90 acres in the woods of the Sierra Nevadas with waterfalls, trails, big trees, and beautiful outdoors. See a video of our site, or check out our site map here.
  • Who? We have had groups from 25 to 125 campers/guests (with more space for teachers/chaperones). We host family camps (all ages), school groups (ages 8-17), intentional organizations, and other private groups. We hold roughly a 1:2 ratio of staff to guests/campers.
  • Why? Our mission is to reclaim and foster the beauty, wonder, awe, potential, and innocence of childhood.
  • How? See more below…

Need-To-Knows:

  • Camp Augusta is a non-profit, so all on-site group use must fall within the vision and mission of Camp Augusta.
This generally means that outdoor education, personal development, or nature needs to be a key aspect of your group’s time at Augusta. One option to ensure this is to hire us to staff and run programming.
