Women's Mid-Week Retreat - April 30 - May 2

Come join us at camp to live out your childhood camper dreams. Zip through the trees, climb to the top of Skyscraper, tie dye a shirt, shoot some arrows at archery or simply relax in a hammock with a glass of wine and your favorite book for a chance to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature and yourself.

This event gives adults the opportunity to connect with one another and experience the joys of summer camp once again (or for the first time!). We will offer many of the same activities our summer campers experience during the summer with a schedule and structure very similar to our family camps. Additionally, Women’s Mid-Week has a few extra special offerings of its own to make your time at camp both magical and comfortable. One of our most proud offerings are the meals which are definitely not your typical summer camp food. To learn more, check out the link to our food philosophy here!

Camp Augusta

We’d love to share information about Camp Augusta : )

In 1931, Camp Augusta was founded and donated to the girls of Piedmont, California. Since then, Augusta has seen a myriad of versions of itself culminating in the wish, wonder, and surprise that is Camp Augusta today.

At Camp Augusta, children see and wonder about a butterfly; they kick a stone and see how it really bounces; they talk with a friend without needing anything that electronically whistles, buzzes, or hums. This Northern California summer camp understands the value of non-electronic, personal experiences for kids. While many camps have sessions of 250 – 500 kids plus staff, Camp Augusta is full with only about 95 campers per session. This allows the director and staff to provide each camper with meaningful individual attention, as well as for campers to get to know one another on a deeper communal level.

Augusta is unique in our communication and behavioral management philosophies which provide the foundations of our camp. Each day, campers have the opportunity to experience choice, are encouraged to step outside their comfort zone and achieve their goals, and are supported through self-reflection, discovery, and development.

To support parents in raising healthy kids, Camp Augusta provides a safe, natural, community environment where campers learn and have fun. All with the intention of carrying out our vision: “To Reclaim and Foster the Beauty, Wonder, Awe, Potential and Innocence of Childhood.”

You can learn even more by checking out our “Augusta Difference” page and, of course, the office elves are always happy to chat!!
