Rope Dart was originally a kung fu weapon.
With a spear head attached to a long rope, a warrior can quickly shoot the weighted end toward an adversary, with the control of the attached rope to retrieve it once again.
Now, the rope dart is seen in fire spinning, and as a form of dance.
This is a movement and prop dance practice in which people learn a language of different moves or ‘tricks’ which they can stitch together in a state of free expression.
