A warm hello to everyone reading this. My name is Meghan, and although this is going to be my first summer at Camp Augusta, I’ve been working with kids in and around camps for a long time. I spent the last fifteen years at all kinds of camps — day camps, band camps, holistic health camps, even summer camps on a cruise ship! — and at every one I meet tons of children for me to teach who, in turn, teach me tons.
I’m dedicated to using my gifts to contribute to the world (I’m an excellent teacher and a crazy good learner), and to help invigorate the loving space our culture holds around children and childhood.
I’m deeply looking forward to my time at Camp Augusta and all of the new relationships I will enjoy there. Supporting the counselors and the campers will be my bread and butter, and I’m eager to get started! I’m also so grateful to be coming to Camp Augusta with my family as we start this new adventure. Steven is the new Program Awesomeness Director and our two children, Bella and Jonah, are excited to get started, too!
