James
Hi all, my name is James, and this is my second year at Camp Augusta. I had a great time meeting all of you last year and I look forward to seeing familiar faces, as well as some new ones. So here are some things about myself. I come from the UK all the way out to California so it’s fair to say it’s nice to get some warmer weather. I love talking to people about everything so feel free to chat to me about anything you would like. However, if you can talk about soccer or mythology even better.
I have worked in many different sectors, but I started my career as a barber where I was running my own business for many years. However I never felt fulfilled so I made the difficult decision to leave it all behind me and carry on in my search. This led me to Augusta, and I found value in its own intentionality alongside its own philosophies. Which mixing them together creates its own blend of magic and wonder where everyone is heard and included.
I am also a keen book lover so in my down time you are most likely to find me with my head in some book. My preferred genres are fantasy or the occasional SCI-FI, however I will read anything. So, if you have any recommendations, please let me know I am running out so quickly AHHH! Other hobbies of mine are travel, chess, magnet fishing and I also have a love for hiking. Here is me Hiking in the middle of Arizona last year. I love the fresh air and getting the chance to take in nature, as well as being able to explore.
I am already looking forward to meeting all of you. Thank you for reading my bio. I will end it with my favourite quote. “Don’t take life too seriously, you will never get out of it alive”.
Cheers,
James
