Hello everyone! My name is Ann-Kathrin! Short version: Anne, better and easier, I made the experience that my name leads to some confusion in other countries 🙂

Finally Camp Augusta made a big dream of mine become true, becoming a member of the equestrian team. Kids, horses, sun and great people, what could be more fun? Summer 2016 will be my first year as a counselor, but I bet not the last. Once I worked in a day Camp which was in a huge riding arena where we created all together a big play city. You could find everything, from a post office to an art or advertisement studio. But no matter what you do, if many people do it together, it will be a lot of fun.

I was born in September 1995 on the countryside but very close to Stuttgart, Germany. Sadly without any siblings but instead, two dogs and honestly they were like my brothers. They had to play horse with me and I even shared my candys with them. Although it can be a little boring living on the countrysidde, there is one big advantage: I am close to my horses and I am honestly crazy about them! Since I started to do equestrian vaulting at the age of seven, I was shure that I found my passion. Probably you couldn´t believe what´s actually possible to do with horses and how much fun you can have with them, from swimming to jumping, and now I´m happy about the chance to share it with you!

In June 2015 I graduated from a Steiner High School and decided to start an adventure right after. I moved to Tokyo, Japan, for a half year to become an Aupair. While beeing with a wonderful hostfamily I learned to love and appreciate other cultures. Cause I didn´t have enough of it, I decided to travel in South America for two more months. It´s so wonderful to learn about new things by actually doing them. Before I start will start with the serious part of my life in September 2016 and enter University to study engineering and management I´m excited about the Camp Augusta experience and the USA, the country of opportunities and Cowboys. And for shure, can´t wait to meet all of you to enjoy the summer, sport and nature together!
