I guess it’s time for me to describe who I see every day in the mirror
More than just white humor, blue eyes, & brown curly hair –
I am, to the core, possessing extraordinary passion & enduring care
Born in San Jose, California
I just moved to Portland, Oregon from Sarasota, Florida
& I must say, I adore it here – ‘tis a wonderful new nirvana
But my journey continues – this summer, to Camp Augusta!
(Side note: I totally make a MEAN German chocolate cake & lasagna!)
A newbie to camp this year –
Butterflies & excitement tickle my gears!
Rejoicing & learning in communal tears, fears, & cheers…
I strive to contribute unique knowledge & love to this extraordinary atmosphere
Now a little more about me – hmmm…let’s see
First off, music is my medicine – like a cup of hot tea
& writing poetry seeps my soul – it warms & sets me free
My unique idiosyncrasy is expressed when I dance –
Serenity takes over, flows within, & puts me in a trance
Engulfed in wishes to share the blissful feeling with the masses…
I also love beating expectations
Like shocking a crowd with my karaoke rap renditions
Or, even more, reeling in gigantic marlin at fishing competitions!
Adventure, travel, & nature are some things I live for
Experience through hands-on existence – I absolutely adore
Let us rejoice in the outdoors & learn lessons we’ve never fathomed before!
Enthusiastic about personal research & education –
I am convinced that it will lead us to love, understanding, & salvation
I dream, one day, of “investigative journalist” becoming my main vocation
I wholeheartedly believe in the limitless capabilities of the mind
& have complete faith in the compassion, wonder, & surprise rooted in humankind
