Hi! I’m Peter,

I’m a 18 year old JC! While I am originally from Piedmont, CA I currently attend a boarding school in Colorado Springs, Colorado called The Fountain Valley School of Colorado. Which is where I will graduate from in May of 2018. I started at Camp Augusta 5 years ago as a camper in Cedar 3, I was hooked after my first year and came back for the next two summers! Last year I participated in the CIRCLE Program, and decided to apply to the JC Program which is how I got where I am today! Here are some of the things I love to do!

A group of actors in period costumes gather around wooden tables and crates on stage, with some standing, talking, and gesturing, set against a rustic wooden backdrop and warm lighting.

I love to act! While I have only been an actor in one show, where I played Lazar Wolfe in my high schools production of Fiddler on the Roof, I loved every moment of it and I expect to continue acting in the future!

A group of nine young people standing closely together outdoors in tall grass, smiling at the camera. One person is holding a ukulele above their head. The sky is cloudy and the sun is low.

I love to spend time with my friends! One unique aspect of boarding school is that I live with some of my closest friends, and very close to others who are day students! I love every moment I spend with them and they have truly made my my high school experience memorable!

A group of twelve young people pose and smile in front of a historic building with a dome and ornate architecture, under a leafless wooden trellis on a sunny day.

I love to travel! This photo was taken of me on a school trip while in Belgium! I spent  all of my childhood traveling across the United States going to different states and landmarks, and I had never left the country until March 2016 when a school trip took me to the Dominican Republic to teach kids english! I took advantage of another school trip this year and went to France and Belgium to practice the French I had been learning for 6 years!

A person with curly hair smiles next to a fluffy white and gray dog indoors, both facing the camera.

I love Animals! I have had a dog all of my life, and when I was a baby I would always eat with the dogs, because I could share my food with them! The one time the dogs were outside while I ate, I cried until my mom let them in!

Two young men stand in a rustic barn; one is smiling, while the other holds a young brown and white goat and looks excited or surprised. The barn is dimly lit with wooden beams visible in the background.
Two smiling men stand close together. The younger man on the left has curly hair and wears a plaid shirt, while the older man on the right has gray hair, glasses, and a dark jacket with a yellow M on it.

Family is very important to me, I have 3 sisters, and because I don’t get to see my family so often every moment with them is precious!

A young man with curly hair, wearing a cream-colored suit and a floral tie, plays an electric bass guitar in front of a white wall. Music stands are visible in the foreground.

I absolutely love music! This love stems from my parents, who raised me to love music. As a child my favorite songs were “Get off Of My Cloud” By the Rolling Stones, “Barbra-Ann” By the Beach Boys and anything by Sly and The Family Stone or the Beatles. Music has been a passion of mine for my entire life! As a result I currently play Baritone and Electric bass in my school band, however, I prefer to play Tuba so I will be playing Tuba and Electric Bass next year!

A wide landscape at sunset with grassy fields, a line of trees on the left, distant mountains in the background, and a narrow stream running along the right side under a soft, colorful sky.

Finally, I love taking photos, I usually use my dads old Nikon which still uses film. My favorite type of picture to take is of nature because I love how a photo can capture a place! And since I know you were probably curious, here is a photo of my school’s beautiful campus in Colorado Springs!
