Nitza (like Pizza)

Hello! Nitza like Pizza here, back for my FIFTH summer in the magical woods of Camp Augusta. If you’re wondering why I say, “I’m Nitza, like Pizza,” it’s because my name rhymes with Pizza! You’ll get used to it 🙂 You can call me Nitza, Nitza like Pizza, or come up with your own funky nickname. One thing to know about me is that I LOVE nicknames!

This summer I will be returning to the magical woods of Augusta as an Office Elf! I’m so excited to connect with campers, old friends, new friends and all things I love most about Camp. To kick off our connection let me share a few bits about me:

  • I grew up in Northern California but call Arizona as home as well
  • I LOVE History – I have a bachelor’s degree in history and I will be starting a master’s in history this fall! I love it all so ask me about it!
  • I currently live in my favorite city, Tucson, Arizona. 
  • I’ve lived in three different states but my favorite is Arizona
  • In my free time I like to listen to/talk about/play music, be outdoors, spend time with loved ones, and watch/discuss movies
  • My favorite place at camp is the Manzi Shire, but I think the best place to stargaze is the campfire circle

I view myself as a student in all things! Here are some things I’m excited to learn more about this summer: 

  • Our awesome campers: Teach me an odd talent/skill you have! 
  • RAGING GRANNIES!!!!
  • 5 Year boxes!!! 
  • How to incorporate play, joy, and sincere intention in all that I do
