My name is Nayely but you can call me Nay and this is the story of my life…Since I was a child everything has been an adventure which, though I cannot say with precision where the beginning was.I remember myself as an intrepid and adventurous child, and being the older sister I had to have the imagination and creativity to entertain two sisters who were full of energy, climbing trees, running, jumping, inventing histories to play with them, playing in puddles in the rain, in the mud and discovering every day the things that I like. Every time my father came back at night we shouted: hide! And his goal was to find us.

I am accustomed to spending long hours drawing landscapes, animals or anything worthy to be imprinted with watercolors in paper. I took some guitar classes, learned some songs, and actually, I believe I have always had this “artist spark” in my interior.I will never have the words to thank my father’s sweet heart who always taught me the love for life, the respect and the amusement for nature and animals, at only 5 years I was surprised even the smallest lives like bees and colorful insects which I was not afraid to take them in my hands, go to the beach and gather all the little shells that I found in each step, fill my life with pets like a rabbit, a guinea pig, even a baby sheep and dogs – a lot of dogs!

At 27 I share my life with a cat that always sleeps by my side and follows me everywhere. For some reason it is always purring. But my favorite is Lula, a small Dachshund who loves to howl when he hears a train or an ice cream truck and he sings like he is trying to imitate it.I study Tourist Administration and I am fascinated with my career because it reminds me every day that every place and every person has a story to tell and it is necessary for me to discover it.This is going to be my first year in Augusta Camp and I am very excited to meet all of you and live this experience… What a thrill!

Planning the trip and everything that entails is something that I find joyful.I think that we should never forget that little child in our inside who reminds us that we are never too big to climb trees, play in puddles or enjoy an afternoon with friends, and especially being brave to say ‘yes’ to a great adventure.
