Lucira At-Home Test – Before Arriving to Camp Augusta

Before unvaccinated campers arrive at camp, Camp Augusta is requiring proof of a negative PCR that was taken within 72 hours of arrival or a Lucira molecular test taken within 24 hours of arrival. While the Lucira At-Home Test is not a PCR test, it has a similar level of accuracy..

Please follow instructions below to purchase, administer, and provide proof of the Lucira molecular test.

Step 1:

Purchase a Lucira test. This is available on Amazon. *Please note, Prime delivery speeds do not apply for Lucira. If you plan on using this option, purchase as soon as possible.

Step 2:

Within 24 hours before arrival at camp (preferably closer to arrival) take the test out of the box. You will find an electronic reader, a plastic vial with some liquid, a nose swab, and some instructions.

Step 3:

Follow the instructions for the test. If the camper taking the test is under the age of 14, an adult must administer the test.

Step 4:

After doing the test and receiving your results, do one of the following:

  • Text the word ‘LUCI’ to 44544
  • Go to luci.lucirahealth.com

Follow the steps to confirm that you have a negative test result.

Step 5:

  • Go to the menu (three lines on the top right of the screen) and select ‘My Recent Tests’
  • Select your test
  • Select ‘Email PDF’. Proof of your test will then be sent to your email
  • Go to your email and forward the proof of your test to Camp Augusta (office@campaugusta.org)
