Ethan

I have just started pilot gig rowing which has a humongous learning curve so I am having fun being bad at this and having to learn all the tips and tricks. But where I am currently living is the place where the World Pilot Gig Championship is hosted so being able to see all the 144 boats that come each year from all over the world to row is an awesome sight even with the chaos it causes on the small island.

One of my favorite things I have done would have to be DofE bronze award (Duke of Edinburgh)  which is a 2 day / 1 night walking expedition. Mine was around Dartmoor and me and a group of friends planned our 22km route for each day on a map and then we got dropped of at our start point with nothing but our big walking bags and some food, we then had to get to our final destination with little to no help from our instructors.

A few fun facts about me:

  • I have had my own coffee van business
  • I love roast dinners
  • I have a bronze Duke of Edinburgh award
  • I support Manchester United
  • I think cats are better then dogs hehe

10 points if you can tell me where the smallest soccer league in the world is played. 50 bonus points if you can tell me the names of the teams.

I look forward to meeting you and spending a week or two of fun and adventure 😀

Hello there, my name is Ethan Mulholland (otherwise known as E, Eth, Ethanol, Methane and everything else with Ethan in it) and my excitement to have the privilege to be a counselor at Camp Augusta for the first time is enough to power a small town. I am 21 and I am from a small town in Devon, England. I have grown up being very outdoorsy and being around people and friends all the time.

I can’t wait to come to camp and get to meet you all, learn about each other, try new clinics and activities and have the best summer ever and laugh so hard that our stomachs ache.

I have played football (soccer) all my life and have played against academies such as Manchester City, Walsall, Blackburn, Derby and many more from all over the country, I have also been a football coach for a few years for kids aged 8-9. I really enjoyed being able to teach people new things and also learn things myself at the same time. I love the energy the children bring to each session and all the questions they ask and different ways they go about doing tasks.

I love spending time with friends and family whilst playing board games or going for a walk to a nice place for some dinner. I also love my cat Daisy, she is very fussy and only lets you stroke her when she decides. Trying new things with friends and going a different way to get to our destination really sums me and my friends up. Having to read a map or problem solve make me feel so cool and happy when I manage to do these types of thing.
