Many campers choose to spend time in Camp Augusta’s organic garden, which provides some food for camp meals. Educating our youth about healthful, locally grown fruit and vegetables is more critical than ever at a time when obesity and diabetes have become a national concern. Campers till the soil of the 3200-square-foot plot, as well as help plant, harvest, and cook the vegetables, berries and herbs.
Learn to plant your own garden, care for a goat, and work with chickens.
