Kia Ora from New Zealand, campers!
My name is Madeline but you can all call me Maddy as it’s much easier to remember. I am 23 years old and this is my first camp! I have never done anything like this before so I may be in the same boat as some of you with the first timer experience. I am a passionate horse rider and have been riding for 17 years! I got my first pony when I was 6. I have done lots of competing in my younger years and still do some back home now, although my horses are currently on a well deserved holiday. I have two dogs back home who are called Amy and Ace. They are my little besties and I often refer to them as my kids. I have grown up mostly rural in New Zealand and have done some farm work – I especially loved feeding our calves!
My Hobbies outside of horses are Gyming, I love weight lifting and keeping active, I also love going four wheel driving out at our local beaches.
Before coming to camp I worked as a dental assistant in schools and in our local hospital, i love working at the schools and seeing the smiles on kids’ faces when talking to them. I’m really hoping to learn some cool new cultures and experience some new adventures while I’m at camp!
