Charlton

Hi, I’m Charlton and I’m super excited to be a first-time camp counselor here at Camp Augusta!

I’m 21 years old and all the way from Durban, South Africa. I’ve always had a passion for sports – soccer is where my heart is, but I also love the thrill of Formula 1 and enjoy a relaxing round of golf whenever I can.

On top of my love for sports, I’ve got a creative side too! Art and design are things I really enjoy, and I love expressing myself through different projects. Whether I’m out on the field, creating something new or just enjoying a bit of time on the golf course, I’m always looking to make the most of every moment.

My passion for soccer started at a young age and even continued through my time in helping teaching children soccer and the fundamentals of the game, but also the joy and experience they can have while playing! This also sparked my love and enthusiasm for teaching and now becoming a counselor 🙂

My family and friends are also a major part of my life and mean the world to me, everyone who I connect with and build a relationship with becomes a part of my life and my journey. I’m hoping to not only experience my own journey with everyone at camp this summer but to experience everyone’s journey and be apart of it with them as well!

My big dream is to have a career teaching children, whether it’s as a sports coach or a PE teacher. I’m passionate about helping kids grow, have fun and discover their potential – and I can’t wait to bring that energy to Camp Augusta this summer! I’m here to make sure every camper has an amazing experience and leaves with some awesome memories!
