In short, we offer a $1000 REFERRAL BONUS for anyone who refers or recruits an applicant (you don’t even need to know them) who gets hired and works the summer, and $100 for a qualified referred/recruited applicant who makes it through Round 1 of our application process (those six questions).
We seek staff who love children, could return for a couple years if they loved it, have a spark and zest for life, and would be excited about all those things that make Augusta special.

- We have two outreach / recruiting guides on our hiring team – They’ll follow up with you after filling out the survey below with simple ideas/strategies that could connect you with people. And, if you are interested and have some connections with local networks (like universities, workplaces, etc.) then, they’ll do all the research / planning for you to make those connections. Literally, send you the avenues, templates, call sheets, etc. Depending on your connections, this may be paid additionally.
- How to Get a Referral Bonus – For the DIYers out there, and to show we mean business, here is a packet of resources with templates of direct messages and social media postings, pipeline ideas, email templates, etc. This has been informed based on strategies that have worked for us and reviewed by staff who have gotten referrals in the past.
While no one may come to mind and you may not have much to do/follow up on, we ask for all of our staff to fill in the survey below (if you haven’t already) to get you thinking about some networks and leads that you might know, and that the hiring team might follow up about:
Note: You’ve seen our application process – it’s legit. Know that 3 out of 5 referral applicants do not get hired. Even ‘great’ people aren’t necessarily good fits for Augusta right now. Common factors here are life experience, child experience, future plans, etc. etc.
