Hello! My name is Smelly Morg, why do they call me Smelly Morg? Ask me when you meet me! I just finished my dream degree in middle grade education and teaching English as a second language.  I went to school, and grew up, in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina; have you even been?  Last year I attended Camp Augusta as an Oak Counselor, as well as working on Wilderness Trips, and this year you’ll still see me in Oak from time to time, but mostly I’ll be in the woods taking campers on beautiful scenic trips all across California!

I came to camp last year because I wanted to make a big change in my life and so, I decided to move across the country for the summer! Last summer turned out to be life changing for me and I know that I will always come back to camp! After I leave the wonders of camp, I will be moving to Costa Rica to pursue my love of teaching English! I am pumped to work in Costa Rica so that I can immerse myself in a community that is different than one I have ever known.

Being in nature is a passion for me and I cannot wait to share my passion with the campers of Camp Augusta this summer!
