Some say they have spotted the wild Nick Dunn roaming the woods of Augusta. For years many have wondered how he got there, or why here is there. People question if he is even real. After a great deal of research and sciencey things we have finally found our answers.
Nick Dunn grew up in Adelaide, Australia. Just like all of the stereotypes Nick grew up playing with Koalas, throwing Boomerangs and playing the Digeridoo. When he wasn’t doing this, he was living the life that actual Australians do…which isn’t too different to the lives of Americans. Nick grew up playing Basketball, Aussie Rules Football, Cricket, Softcross… you name it! As he entered his teenage years these passions then turned towards music. He learnt how to play piano, clarinet, guitar, bass, drums, and even sound engineering. If there’s one thing that you can say about Nick it’s that he puts his all into the things he is passionate about.
When Nick turned 17 he decided that his new passion was to work with kids, so once he finished high school he put this passion to work by studying until he got his master’s degree in Elementary School Teaching. After this he decided that he would give himself one single year to explore the world before beginning his career as a teacher. He knew he loved working with kids, so he decided to work at Camp Augusta for the summer and then explore the world…this was four years ago.
Nick never left these woods, saying it was the most magical place he has ever witnessed. He began in 2014 as a Pine Counselor, before becoming the Master of Fun & Games in 2015, and the Master of None in 2016. For the year of 2017 he is back in the village of Pine and is excited to give his all to his cabins and bring as much Wish, Wonder, Surprise as possible!
If you enter the woods of Augusta this summer you may be able to witness this ever rare Nick Dunn in his habitat. Prepare yourselves for what is to come…and good luck!
